Open (2012) is a unique, completely improvisational chapter in the discography of the virtuoso trio Stick Men. Unlike their strictly structured albums, this release was born from free, spontaneous jams in the studio. The musicians (Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, and Markus Reuter) abandoned pre-prepared compositions, creating a raw, hypnotic, and dark canvas that demonstrates the members' telepathic synergy, forged by years of collaboration in King Crimson.
