"Noel" is a 1968 holiday studio album by the American vocal group The Lennon Sisters (comprising sisters Dianne, Peggy, Kathy, and Janet Lennon), released on Mercury Records. The album captured a transitional moment in the group's career following their departure from The Lawrence Welk Show and their move from Dot Records to Mercury Records in search of updated pop arrangements.
The production was helmed by veteran pop producer Tommy "Snuff" Garrett, with orchestral and choral arrangements written by Pete King and Marylla King. The musical style adheres to traditional late-1960s vocal pop, built around the sisters' signature close-harmony blending.
The album features a selection of mid-century holiday standards and traditional carols, including "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", "White Christmas", "The Christmas Waltz", "Do You Hear What I Hear", and "The First Noel". Within the discography of The Lennon Sisters, "Noel" remains recognized as one of their four core seasonal releases.
