Viktor Wilhelmsen - Electric guitar I: Stomp, stomp, quack (2026) [Hi-Res]

This is my attempt at a proof of concept type of album. Every track is recorded in one take, no overdubs. Two, or three self-made tube amps, a stomp box and a submarine pickup through an octave and stuff for my bass signal. These 9 tracks are me playing around with rhytmic ideas, grooves and things that I've come up with in my journey through jazz, pre war blues, ry cooder, ali farka touré, slide guitar, northern sámi traditional yoik, efrain toros rhythmic ideas and much more. I recorded the album myself, on a zoom livetrak 12, with some cheap ribbons and an sm57. Hope you will listen to it. Thanks! Viktor
