Naturesprit - Observer Paradox (2026)

Naturespirit appears on Backhaus’s new sublabel "SchwingKunst" with his third studio album, "Observer Paradox". It’s a journey through ambient dreams, leftfield-influenced soundscapes, and rhythms drawing from a diverse palette of timbres and techniques while forming a beautiful body as a whole.
"Prologue" opens the album with a bright atmospheric theme filled with subtle organic grains.
"Ash" feels like a dream you just woke up from leaving behind only a distinct feeling and fragmented memories. It merges background ambiences, voices from a casual movie scene, and constant yet lively rhythms.
With "Illusive", the simple idea of a continued search for an ordinary groove turns into a never-ending, ever-evolving one.
"Tides" is a harmonically layered cluster of pads augmenting each other. In doing so, they form abstract sentences in their own secret language…
After seemingly continuing the calmness of "Tides", "Monday Blues" quickly builds a stark contrast – an unconventionally sampled breakbeat delivers rhythms that grow and shrink periodically, forming pumping and pounding grooves that tickles the brain.
"Morphism" dives deep into rumbling dubby chords and liquid textures. These almost threatening pulses are supplemented with melancholic pads, turning it into a diffuse source of hope.
"Signal" consists of atmospheric pads and scattered grains of noise. It’s a sonic exploration of different stages with a mysterious deep calling trying to suck you in from below.
In "Order by Disorder", FM melodies jump around alongside a sliced-up breakbeat, calmed and kept together by harmonic pads and a driving bass rhythm.
With "Challenger", the only four-to-the-floor track emerges from the complex rhythms and deep soundscapes. It’s a house-infused track bringing a sense of lightness and pure joy of life to the album.
"Un Día" is an ode to today and all its beauty, reflecting decay.
Finally, "Empty Room" calms the ears and mind from the odyssey of mixed feelings and complexity. A simple, yet mesmerising, playful melody repeats itself, forming one body with the low dubs and the last beautifully pulsing ambient pad, gently bringing this trip to an end.
