Blind Yeo - The Lemoine Point (2026) [Hi-Res]

BAND/ARTIST: Blind Yeo

British music and visual arts collective Blind Yeo, based in Cornwall, has released their debut studio album The Lemoine Point. Formed as an open-ended artistic community during a creative residency at The Cornish Bank, the ensemble translated their hypnotic live improvisations to a disused airfield near St Agnes, where the record was captured. The album's concept borrows from the geometric notion of the Lemoine point—a hidden convergence center—symbolizing the intersection of personal memory, grief, contemporary social dynamics, and mythic storytelling.

The recording features an extended lineup including drummer Sam Pert, guitarist Phil Self, synthesist Henry Greenham, cellist Philippa Blum, bassist Jake Sheridan, vocalists and songwriters Will Greenham and Anouska Helm, alongside string arranger Matthew Kelly. Musically, the project blends live psychedelic jams, experimental folk, krautrock, and electronic music textures. Lyrically, the record references the literary works of Italo Calvino and regional folklore, framing them through modern narrative perspectives and the distinct geography of Cornwall.
