French producer Bruno "Patchworks" Hovart joined forces with the Favorite Recordings label to launch Voilaaa, a project focused on exploring global dance music traditions. Following his work with acts such as The Dynamics, Mr President, Mr Day, Patchworks Galactic Project, and Taggy Matcher, the artist returned to classic disco, fusing it with afrobeat, afro-disco, and Caribbean rhythms. Teased by a successful summer single, the debut full-length album On te l’avait dit features 10 dance tracks driven by collaborations with guest vocalists including Sir Jean, Pat Kalla, Renaud Bilombo, Hawa, and Fouley Badiaga.
