A Live Document (2023) is the first official live album by the Austrian art rock band Blank Manuskript, released by the independent label Auerbach Tonträger (a division of Prophecy Productions).
The recording captures the band's live performances during their European tours, showcasing the band's virtuoso teamwork and distinctive conceptual approach to stage shows.
A Live Document is a retrospective of the band's best conceptual suites from the albums A Tales of Sisyphus (2013), The Krasnaya Hora Incident (2015), and Krásná Hora (2019).
Unlike many live recordings, this release is preserved without studio overdubs, capturing the authentic atmosphere of the concerts, where the complex drama of the compositions intertwines with furious, raw drive and improvisational pauses.
