Psychiatrist Eric Berne's ideas around autonomy, awareness and the possibility of moving beyond old scripts remained a recurring influence throughout the album's creation. The record explores change, uncertainty and the challenge of trying to remain human with warmth, doubt, humour and hope never far away.
Blending melodic electronica, found sounds, breakbeats and cinematic textures, Russian Linesman's first full-length album since 2023's "If Miniature World Is Our Safe Space, Then Pass Me The Shrink Ray" journeys through memory, identity and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are.
