Karla Bonoff - Wild Heart Of The Young (1982)

Karla Bonoff's third album 1982's Wild Heart of The Young is a great album that should have gotten bigger than it had, even while producing only one hit: the album's opener "Personally." Bonoff has written most of the album, with lyrics straight from her heart. One of my favorite is the title track, focusing on her memories of her youth and the love and dedication of a man that changes her life. The last song "Dream" really stood out of the crowd, a soft and soothing way to end her album. The colorfully picturesque album cover is one of my favorites. The picture looks like it could be a front cover of a mystery novel or, even more likely, a romantic novel
