ABBA's seventh (and penultimate) studio album, released on 3 November 1980. It is also their most successful album.
It contained two successful singles, "The Winner Takes All" (the B-side of Elaine, which was only released as a bonus on later CD releases), and "Super Trouper".
It was first released on CD in 1983, and has been reissued digitally four times, in 1997, 2001 (this version; the 24-page booklet is the most valuable; although this was included with the other albums); in 2005 as part of the "The Complete Studio Recordings" box set; and as a Deluxe Edition (with bonus DVD) in 2011.
The bonus track "Put On Your White Sombrero" was also recorded at the same time as the other songs on the album; but it was first released in 1994, on the setlist of the 4-CD box set Thank You For The Music. (That was the first "serious" compilation to include a number of single B-sides and a few different versions.)
