Recorded over a week in Dystopia Studios in Partick (Glasgow) with Luigi Pasquini The Glorious Abysmal demos were created at Vox Liminis - a place for people with experience of the criminal justice system.
The songs are sung in both Gàidhlig and English by vocalist and songwriter Susannah Stark (Scottish Album of the Year nominee) co-produced by Niall MacDonald (Blackboxx) and Luigi Pasquini (Dystopia Studios) and mastered by Dan Smith (Ella Fitzgerald, Brain Jonestown Massacre, John Martyn, Max Cooper).
Their debut video was filmed by Odhran MhicLeòid. The album artwork was created in collaboration with Olifur Briedford (Shane MacGowan - The Eternal Buzz and the Crock of Gold, Björk).
Wild Gods make music born from Celtic ceremonial sounds, sampled Gàidhlig archival material and Empyrean noise.
From the waulking songs of the Hebrides to sub bass fractured in patterns of the early mathematics of infinity this record is one for tender mornings and the event horizons of black holes.
