Arabs In Aspic - Syndenes Magi (2017)

Syndenes Magi (Sin Magic) is the sixth studio album by the Norwegian progressive rock band Arabs In Aspic, released in October 2017 via Karisma Records. The album is a striking example of Scandinavian retro prog with a deep leaning toward the heavy psychedelic rock of the 1970s and lyrics in their native Norwegian.

Musically, the album is aimed at fans of the classic sounds of Black Sabbath, King Crimson, Yes, and Uriah Heep. Unlike some of their previous works, here the band emphasizes denser, darker, and more monumental compositions, rich with complex rhythmic shifts.
