Brazilian musicians João Selva and Diogo Strausz teamed up with French producer Patchworks to create a dance project bridging Brazilian samba and baile funk heritage with classic disco. The collaborative spark emerged during a joint tour at the Radio Meuh Circus Festival, leading to recording sessions at the Ginger X studio in Lyon. Conceptual inspiration for the record stems from an exhibition on 1970s disco culture at the Philharmonie de Paris, echoing the liberating spirit of Brazilian street carnivals. As part of the release, Razor’n Tape label founder and DJ JKriv crafted a nu-disco remix enhanced with acid accents and a deep bassline. The EP debuted on June 26, 2026.
