The Dublin-based Irish indie rock trio Really Good Time, whose style has been compared to a blend of Queens of the Stone Age and The Walkmen, is releasing their debut album, Affirmations. Rather than succumbing to self-absorbed nihilism, the band addresses everyday panic with irony and humor, examining moments ranging from the discomfort of crowded public transit to surreal pop-culture observations like seeing Bob Dylan on a reality television show. Supported by prominent music media and major stations like BBC 6 Music and Radio X, with their track "Do It" featured in RTÉ's FIFA World Cup coverage, the release is backed by an extensive autumn tour across Europe, the UK, and Ireland.
