The cross-currents and rivers of music flowed into this session, recorded with no isolation or headphones and Treut's loft in the early spring of 2025. Recently, Treut & Meister have been collaborating, not only as musicians, but as record producers as well. Deciding to turn a jam hang into a recording session, Francesco Marcocci supplied the bass and Dan Blake supplied the sax. In what was a 3 hour hang out, we merited these 7 tracks. Moisture accrued, hydration soothed, as we got down to the business of music. In a world of over-produced and glossy finished records, these recordings exemplify the raw, human, visceral experience in which music should be made and moreover, listened. Don't fake the funk on the nasty dunk, it's an AI jungle out there, kiddo.
