AI, misinformation, the climate timebomb, inequality and wars. I wanted the artwork to represent the feeling of being prepared for a world you don’t quite recognize yet. This album is the soundtrack for those of us who are “clocked out” mentally but still “clocked in” physically. ‘The New Now’ is a representation of the power of the arts. Music is the expressive medium that transcends language and barriers. It’s the escapism and the comfort that keeps us going when things get dark. I refuse to let the state of the world get me down. We fight hate with love, and that’s what this album’s message is all about. So much love went into making this record and I can’t wait for you all to hear what’s in store.
