The illli moniker is not a detached persona but a fragment of the artist’s own process, meaning an ongoing creative thread that questions the individual creativity and leans instead into continuity, care and a playful childlike energy.

slow.sustains points to a practice of sustainable low-tech digital work: a restrained footprint rather than maximalist resolution, and an attention to how much infrastructure is needed.

Built from digital synthesis, eurorack shaping, deepstretch processing, micro‑sampling, and a chain of resampling, post‑production and multiple re‑exports, the album favours slow erosion over linear arrangement. Fragments are constantly recontextualized: sounds are frozen, regridded, eroded, then folded back into the mix until their origin blurs.
