Moroccan band Tarwa N-Tiniri release their third album, "ZAMAN," dedicated to southeastern Morocco and the oral storytelling traditions of the Draa Valley. Deeply connected to Amazigh culture, the musicians explore themes of memory, identity, resilience, and the enduring bond between people and their ancestral land. The album was recorded in Ouarzazate, a desert-gateway city often called the "Hollywood of Africa" for its dramatic landscapes and film studios. It was produced at the band's own facility, Sahara Records, and released by the Canadian label Atty Records. Guest musicians from multiple countries contributed to the record — Thijs Borsten from the Netherlands, Simon Walls from Canada, and Moroccan artist Bader Mezouz — lending international textures to the band's sound without diluting its signature desert blues identity. "ZAMAN" turns personal and collective experience, along with cultural memory, into a poetic statement: the album celebrates Amazigh identity while expanding the genre's sonic boundaries, blending ancestral rhythms with contemporary energy.
