The Strokes - Reality Awaits (2026)

Reality Awaits is the seventh studio album from The Strokes and their first full-length since 2020’s Grammy-winning The New Abnormal. The record arrives July 24, 2026 via Cult Records/RCA Records, with Rick Rubin producing after working with the band on their last album.

Recorded in Costa Rica and finished around the globe, Reality Awaits keeps the classic Strokes lineup intact: Julian Casablancas, Nick Valensi, Albert Hammond Jr., Nikolai Fraiture and Fabrizio Moretti. The rollout began with “Going Shopping,” followed by “Falling out of Love,” both pointing toward a record that leans into the band’s clipped New York guitar language while letting the songs stretch into stranger, looser corners.

The nine-song tracklist opens with “Psycho Shit” and includes “Dine N’Dash,” “Lonely in the Future,” “Going to Babble On,” “Liar’s Remorse,” “The Fruits of Conquest” and “Tyrants of the Mellow Moon.”
