Florida-based twin brothers Mike and Nick Rufolo are a prolific instrumental duo, with Mike handling drums, recording, and overdubs through his own analog tape console, while Nick plays every other instrument. Over the years they've amassed a sprawling archive of music scattered across streaming platforms and home hard drives, and are now working with the staff of BMM Records to organize this legacy into a compilation series called Nylon Archives. The third volume in the series departs from focusing on a single genre and instead brings together all thirteen tracks from their Elevator Vibes cycle — a warm instrumental line blending funk, soul, jazz, and related sounds. The tracks' popularity varies widely: Elevator Vibes 1 became their biggest hit, surpassing 12 million streams on Spotify, while Elevator Vibes 10 remained completely unreleased until this compilation.
