Returning to Japan after two years of studying in the UK, guitar prodigy Dai Kimura is venturing into new territory with his long-awaited new album, a collaboration with Andrew York, whom Kimura deeply admires. All tracks are by York, who is popular in Japan and whose music has recently been featured in commercials. York has written two new songs specifically for this album. In particular, the approach of arranging the music for a four-piece band with added bass and percussion is unprecedented and indicates a new direction for Kimura's career.
