"Trans Pennine" is an archival compilation album by two prominent figures of the British folk revival, Harry Boardman and Dave Hillery. The album was released digitally by the respected British label Topic Records in 2016, and a CD version was released in 2017 as part of the renowned "Topic Treasures" reissue series.

This release is actually a reissue of the classic 1971 vinyl split album, originally titled "Trans Pennine: Traditional Songs and Ballads from Lancashire and Yorkshire."

The album consists of traditional ballads, work and everyday songs, as well as so-called "dialect songs" sung in specific local dialects. The material is roughly divided: Boardman sings Lancashire songs (for example, about weavers, factories and local life), and Hillery is responsible for the Yorkshire song tradition (including romantic ballads and hunting songs).
