French musicians, including members of the trance project «Hilight Tribe» (Rishnu and I Roots), accordionist Grayssoker, and saxophonist Fred Z., have released an international EP titled "Cumbia Dub Sessions". The core of the release is built around a single instrumental track, «Paz en la Ciudad», which blends elements of Dub, Cumbia, and world music influences. To create a unique multicultural sound, four distinct vocalists from around the globe joined the project: Mexican singer Olinka, performer Syna Awel (singing in the Kabyle language), Jamaican artist Jah-K, and musician Jeyo. The result is a conceptual record where the exact same musical foundation unfolds across four different linguistic and stylistic dimensions, uniting diverse cultures into a single, harmonious whole.
