"Old" (1993) is the third full-length studio album by Maxim Rad, a German singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer (real name: Rainer Max Schwab). Released by the major label Polydor (distributed in some countries by the Chrysalis sublabel), the album cemented the musician's reputation as one of the most authentic European guardians of the traditional American sound.

"Old" is an unfairly forgotten, yet very strong and honest roots rock album from the 90s. It will appeal to all lovers of refined guitar-driven blues-rock, high-quality acoustic arrangements, and melancholic male poetry.

One of the best blue-eyed soul rock albums of all time. Produced by Allen Toussaint in New Orleans back in the day. This record remains a perennial hidden gem—likely because the musicians are German. It is a timeless, heartfelt work that effortlessly stands the test of time.
