Berlin-based Hungarian-Transylvanian artist Réka Csiszér (performing as VÍS) and Canadian-Lebanese musician Radwan Ghazi Moumneh (Jerusalem in My Heart) have delivered a collaborative avant-garde soundtrack to the 1968 silent film 'Le Révélateur'. Recorded between November 2025 and February 2026 at Montreal's legendary Hotel2Tango studio and released via the Heat Crimes label, the album evolved from live improvisational sessions. The musical framework of the release relies on a high-contrast combination of dark analogue drones, eerie environmental concrete sounds, distorted instrumentals, and Csiszér's ethereal, wordless vocals. The work explores themes of displacement and disorientation, seamlessly capturing the hypnotic, stark black-and-white atmosphere of the original cinematic piece.
