The Reed Conservation Society - Sing a song that never ends (2026)
The Reed Conservation Society has released their new English-language album, Sing A Song That Never Ends, via the Asbl Hot Puma label. The record marks a cohesive ensemble effort, recorded live in a single room by the core quartet of Stéphane Auzenet, Mathieu Blanc, Cédric Bermond, and Nicolas Pain. Musically, the release bridges laconic indie pop and sophisticated chamber pop with folk sensibilities and Southern-tinged rock influences reminiscent of Pavement, Fleetwood Mac, and Sufjan Stevens. Keyboardist Florian Robin, recording engineer Yann Arnaud, and guest vocalist Natasha Penot also contributed to crafting the album's dense sonic textures, string arrangements, and complex vocal layers.
