A Slow Alignment of Days by Isostatic (Sean Costello) is shaped by reclaimed time: moments released from the constant pull of the everyday. The music inhabits the unstructured hush of early morning, the slow fade of evening light, and the clarity that emerges as the day’s noise dissolves. Begun during a three-week retreat from work at the end of 2025, the album draws warmth, texture, and quiet imperfection from cassette tape and vintage four-track recorders, extending Isostatic’s signature synth-based compositions into softer, more tactile forms. At its heart, A Slow Alignment of Days is an invitation to slow down, create space, and simply be: a quiet return to presence, solitude, and personal freedom.
