The musical collaboration between Taner Öngür and Serap Yağız, which began in the mid-2000s, evolved through several conceptual albums blending folk, jazz, and Anatolian rock. The idea for their fourth joint album, "3 Derdim Var," emerged during the pandemic pandemic isolation as a creative refuge. Öngür was inspired to reshape the repertoire by the heavy, rock-infused execution of the traditional bağlama. Despite facing skepticism from both the folk and rock establishments, the duo pursued an authentic Anatolian synthesis. Due to pandemic restrictions, the album was recorded remotely across various home studios and mixed by Öngür. The final release, characterized by powerful rock arrangements and expressive vocals, was issued as a limited vinyl run of only 250 copies.
