Swedish vocalist Mariam Wallentin and the West Norwegian Jazz Ensemble (Vestnorsk Jazzensemble) release a collaborative concept album, Spring Flood. The material originated from Wallentin’s lyrical diary entries recorded during a spring trip to Basel and was completed over a two-day session in a Bergen studio driven by intuitive improvisation.
