The music from the iconic Canadian animated series The Raccoons (1985–1991) is receiving its first-ever digital release as part of a major multi-phase franchise revival. In partnership with 604 Records, the newly remastered soundtracks and storybook albums—unavailable since 1988—will return alongside exclusive bonus tracks and contemporary covers. The rollout begins on April 22 with the digital debut of the original hit theme song "Run With Us" by Lisa Lougheed, followed on June 5 by the album Evergreen Nights, featuring a new rendition of the track by the indie duo Fionn. The project marks the 40th anniversary of the show, which was celebrated for its environmental themes, sophisticated storytelling, and contributions from legendary artists like Leo Sayer and Rita Coolidge. This music initiative aligns with the recent 4K restoration of the animated series, setting the foundation for a new era of the franchise.
