Oh Hiroshima - And The Dead Tree Gives No Shelter (2026)

Oh Hiroshima - And The Dead Tree Gives No Shelter (2026)

BAND/ARTIST: Oh Hiroshima

Swedish post-rock band Oh Hiroshima presents their most ambitious and experimental album to date, titled 'And the Dead Tree Gives No Shelter'. Inspired by T. S. Eliot’s poem 'The Waste Land', the album’s concept explores themes of modern existential crisis, apathy, and the pursuit of hope grounded in realism. Musically, the band expands its traditional post-rock boundaries by incorporating progressive rock influences, utilizing new instrumentation, and collaborating with ten guest musicians. Their signature sound relies on the contrast between fragile, shimmering guitar textures, impressionistic vocals, deeply resonant bass lines, and a gradual ascension into monumental, cathartic intensity. The rhythm section was tracked at Studio Gröndahl with Karl Daniel Lidén, while Magnus Lindberg handled the mixing and mastering. The group aims to heavily feature this new material in their upcoming live concert tours.
