Orquesta Aragón - La Epoca de Oro de la Orquesta Aragón (1957)

The album "La Época de Oro de la Orquesta Aragón" (1957) is a cult compilation of recordings by the renowned Cuban ensemble Orquesta Aragón, released during their peak period in the 1950s. Led by violinist Rafael Laya, the group popularized the charanga format, where flute and violins played a leading role instead of the traditional brass instruments. Combined with the rhythms of cha-cha-cha, danzón, and son montuno, this album became a benchmark for classical Cuban music.
