Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman) (Duluth, Minnesota, May 24, 1941 –) is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and poet who has won an Oscar, Golden Globe, and eleven Grammy Awards. He is the 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature. He is one of the defining figures of 20th-century pop music. His best-known songs were written in the 1960s, including Blowin’ in the Wind and The Times They Are A-Changin’, which became anthems for the anti-war and civil rights movements. He broke away from the foundation of his music and created his six-minute hit, "Like a Rolling Stone," which radically changed pop music in 1965.
His lyrics were influenced by politics, social commentary, philosophy, and literature, successfully challenging the conventions of pop music of the time and appealing to the counterculture. While he expanded and embraced musical styles, he was influenced by American folk music, country, blues, rock and roll, Celtic balladry, and jazz, among others.

Dylan plays guitar, keyboards, and harmonica. He has toured regularly with his ever-changing band since the late 1980s. He has also occasionally performed with other musicians, including Paul Simon, Tom Petty, and Eric Clapton. Although his career has been centered around his performing and recording work, he is generally admired for his songwriting talent. Producer – Bob Johnston (tracks: 8, 10 to 12), John Hammond (tracks: 1), Tom Wilson (2) (tracks: 2 to 7, 9). Written-By – B. Dylan
