Karin Stigmark was born on March 2, 1945, in Sweden. In the mid-1960s, she traveled to France, where she was discovered by renowned producers Alain Boublil and Christian Feschner. Under the name Karine, she released several EPs and singles and performed at the prestigious Olympia in Paris. Returning to Sweden, Karin continued her successful career as an actress in film and theater (for example, in productions by the duo Hasse & Tage), as well as a vocalist and lyricist for many Swedish pop stars.
This compilation features the best French and Swedish singles from the late 1960s and early 1970s, digitally remastered.
