Marcus Click - Movin' (2005)

Marcus started his music career at the age of seven, playing the flute and then switching to the saxophone, with his elementary school band. However, in high school, music took a backseat to sports and later, as a young adult, the U. S. Navy took center stage. It would be nearly ten years, from 1982 to 1990, before Click would rediscover his old friend, the saxophone. During this time, his love for jazz grew by listening to guys like Kirk Whalum, Marion Meadows, Najee, Gerald Albright, David Sanborn, Dave Koz, and the late Art Porter and George Howard. Inspired by correspondence from Dave Koz in 1991 and a telephone call from the late George Howard in 1993, Marcus' passion for music was rekindled and playing the sax was no longer something he used to do. Since then, Marcus’ skills and desire to play his sax grew tremendously. So, that brings us to his debut recording, Movin’.
