The album Across The Water (1974–1975) is a unique private press recording that existed for decades in only two original copies. Produced at home under significant technical constraints, the LP is divided into two distinct conceptual sides. Peter McKerrow contributed a neo-classical suite inspired by the rugged isolation of the St Kilda islands and British folk-rock traditions. Andrzej Werno delivered a cycle of melancholic acoustic songs focused on Canadian nostalgia and personal reflection. The work harmonizes technical minimalism with profound artistic sincerity and a complex mythopoetic exploration of landscape and distance.
