Teerath Majumder’s album "Dust to Dust" is a deeply personal solo project conceived during a period of social withdrawal and reflection on familial loss. The core conceptual framework is built upon the philosophical acceptance of human transience and the cyclical nature of existence. Musically, the eight new compositions feature an experimental synthesis of acoustic instruments (tabla, keyboards) and complex electronic textures, intentionally fostering an unresolved emotional atmosphere. Majumder, a multidisciplinary composer and technologist, utilizes this album as a medium to transmute negative experiences into introspective art. The work showcases his distinctive style—merging traditional Bengali influences with cutting-edge sound design—and invites the listener to engage with the material through an open-minded, non-linear perspective.
