The record merges elements of DIY punk, folk, blues, and Americana, anchored by surreal imagery and self-deprecating lyrical narratives. The transition to recording under his legal name originated from the encouragement of the late Emyr Williams. The album is characterized by an informal, "rusted" aesthetic and an unpretentious delivery that balances the artist’s vulnerability with a distinct sense of humor.
