Some songs deserve second chances, as said by Taylor Armstrong about this new release of archived songs from 2021 & 2022. Some may not even really be classified as finished. Containing indistinguishable mumbles & words on more than a couple tracks on this release.
These were all recorded DIY at home in Taylors bedroom. They sit somewhere in between genres, experimenting with indie, folk, acoustic, and alternative.
Taylor went through a time when songwriting was becoming difficult for him. Unhappy with a lot of the songs he had been writing, a transitional period looking back now, he went through his old files on his hard drive and felt like he was developing an album that he could easily envision and release.
