Renowned masters of the modal genre, including Ross Daly and Sokratis Sinopoulos, contributed to the recording, expanding the classical repertoire of the tanbur and ney with contemporary compositions. The central concept of the release draws on Sufi symbolism of birds as intermediaries between realms and emphasizes the intrinsic value of the creative community. The work demonstrates profound improvisational mastery and the artistic connection of the performers, which originated at the Labyrinth Musical Workshop.
