"Ti Love," the fourth studio album by multi-instrumentalist David Walters, is a deeply personal project conceived in Martinique following the passing of his mother. The album's title reflects the concept of "little love"—acts of selfless kindness and everyday affection. Developed over three years at the "Manoir des Artistes" studio in Fort-de-France, the record benefited from a collaborative environment involving diverse producers such as GUTS, Bluestaeb, and Blundetto, as well as features from Fatoumata Diawara and Keziah Jones. Stylistically, the project blends disco-funk, reggae, and Caribbean influences. The closing track, "Bon Voyage," serves as a poignant farewell to his mother. Ultimately, the album strikes a balance between emotional vulnerability and infectious grooves, marking a significant milestone in Walters' twenty-year career.
