Boogie Down Edits - SADE HOUSE EDITS (Part One) (2025)

Over the years, one of the most sampled artists from popular music is the amazing singer Sade. A natural fit for the sound of house music, Boogie Down Edits makes this collection all about her. First, 'Bullet Proof Soul' from her 1992 album Love Deluxe is remade. The vocal version is the most familiar sounding as it sped up slightly to fit the tempo of an upbeat house gem. Still keeping the smoothness of the original, this becomes a melodic beauty. The Clubstramental version features fewer vocals while the Future Dream mix is a beatless ambient that allows Sade' vocal to shine. Also from Love Deluxe, Boogie Down Edits work with 'I Couldn't Love You More' and 'No Ordinary Love' which both seemed destined for this type of attention.
