Mikey Kenney's fourth studio album, Tiny Little Light, is a collection of original songs performed in the style of English and Irish fiddle music from the north-west. Kenney, a Liverpool native known as a "fiddle-singer," plays most of the instruments, supplemented by cello, clarinet, piano, and trombone. The lyrics are largely autobiographical reflections, addressing personal incidents, rural festivals, the fragile balance of nature, his fascination with old fiddle tunes, and criticism of the modern world.
