Living Between The Lines may be the debut solo album from L.A. musician, director, and author Frank Meyer, yet he’s already built an impressive track record through his work with The Streetwalkin’ Cheetahs, Trading Aces, James Williamson, Eddie Spaghetti, and FEAR, to name a few—his resume is too extensive to list here. There’s nothing left to learn, but that doesn’t mean he’s holding on to the past: “I wanted this record to sound different than my other projects and add a new layer to my songwriting. So these songs are overtly more bluesy and soulful, less punk, and a bit poppier. I guess this is my Tom Petty album.”

You’ll hear eleven solid rock ‘n’ roll hits—varying in tempo but always intense, powerful, and energetic—with big riffs and big vocals. Friends like Lisa Kekaula (The Bellrays), Cherie Currie (The Runaways), and Eddie Spaghetti (Supersuckers) are on hand for amazing duets. It’s a genre-bending ride through romance and rebellion, a veteran’s musical reinvention breaking the mold, in a way that can’t be ignored.
