Emile Sornin (Forever Pavot) releases the conceptual album "Melchior" on the Born Bad label, inspired by the creation of an automaton of the same name. Originally intended to handle the artist's promotional duties, the robot became the catalyst for a shift in musical direction. The album departs from the usual pop sound towards heavy electronics, krautrock, and hip-hop, featuring English lyrics. Guest artists include Lispector and Kumisolo, with mixing by Domotic. The release combines modern experimentation with homages to library music, baroque, and soundtrack classics such as Ennio Morricone and François de Roubaix.
