Horus Records founders Will Dorey (Skinshape) and Ben Bell have shifted the label's focus from reissuing rare recordings to producing original music rooted in the traditions of 1960s and 1970s Jamaican reggae and dub. Their new fully analogue studio album highlights the duo's production craft, featuring collaborations with guest vocalists alongside original compositions and covers, including a reggae interpretation of the Interstellar theme. Outside of this project, Bell manages a prominent vinyl shop, while Dorey continues to explore funk, soul, and psychedelic genres in his solo work.
