"See It Another Way" is a reissue of the seminal second album by the experimental post-rock band Macha from Athens, Georgia, released by the archival label Numero Group. The 1999 album marked the peak of the band's creative integration, blending the dense, instrumental textures of post-rock with elements of krautrock, post-punk, and, crucially, Indonesian Gamelan music. Traditional instruments such as gongs and Javanese zithers are actively incorporated into the compositions, creating a deep, hypnotic, and intricate soundscape. This reissue by Numero Group aims to revitalize this important yet underappreciated release, showcasing the unique fusion of Eastern and Western musical cultures.
