The album Cent mille chansons ("One Hundred Thousand Songs") is one of the studio works by the French arranger and conductor Paul Mauriat and his Grand Orchestra, released in 1968, the year the ensemble achieved global success with the hit "Love Is Blue." The album continues the orchestra's signature style, presenting a collection of instrumental versions of popular compositions of the time, primarily French and international hits. Mauriat's main objective was to transform vocal songs into lush, melodic orchestral pieces within the Easy Listening genre.
