Seb Wildblood & Waterworld - Waterworld (2025)

Seb Wildblood’s forthcoming album, released under his Waterworld alias, is his most personal and vocally-driven work to date. The record blends shoegaze, post-punk, and electronic textures, with Seb taking lead on vocals for the first time across an entire LP. Originally conceived as a loose set of experiments, the project gradually evolved into a fully formed narrative - tracing the emotional terrain of nostalgia, self-reflection, and the tension between presence and longing.
Influenced by the indie and band-led music he grew up with, the album channels early 2000s textures through a modern, lo-fi lens. While the record is introspective in tone, it’s not weighed down by darkness. Instead, it offers moments of release, humour, and subtle optimism - a product of reconciling inner dissonance with external change, particularly following his move from London to Los Angeles.
This record also marks a formal blending of his Waterworld alias with the Seb Wildblood catalog, presenting a unified step forward as an artist embracing songwriting, storytelling, and emotional transparency.
