KwaBhca legendary jazz musician Leon Tuta completed his red-hot-album Afro Connexion. This is Leon Tuta’s second album which will be released on 20 November 2025.
The Afro Connexion album was recorded at Amp Record Studio in KwaBhaca Village. It is an eight track album with one African jazz instrumental track and seven vocal ones. Leon plays bass guitar, lead bass , keyboards , drum programming and is on vocals. In this album Leon works wiith big brass in jazz the likes of Sivuyise ‘Automatiq Umshini’ Ndawose the audio engineer, plays synthetic flute on track one and acoustic guitar on track three .
Tuta said the music is influenced by South African jazz, East and West African music styles and African diaspora. He said the album addresses personal and societal issues. Track 5 entitled ‘ Intent to….’ is an appeal to stop road carnages. ‘Elomso ‘ is a dedication to a boy child. ‘Masambe dali ‘ is for appreciation of women. Music will be available in various digital stores like Apple, Youtube , Spotify and many others .
